Shrinkage Cracking
Shrinkage cracks are hairline cracks that usually are less than 6 ft (2 m) long and do not extend across the entire slab. They are formed during the setting and curing of the concrete and usually do not extend through the depth of the slab.
Note: no degrees of severity are defined for shrinkage cracking. It is enough to indicate that shrinkage cracks are present.
